Trystan and Helly’s Marquee Mullion wedding

Trystan and Helly had decided to have a Mullion wedding, I can’t blame them as it is, of course, the greatest place in the world! (not at all biased living here myself honest!) a rare treat for me not actually having to leave my home village to get to a wedding.

Helly arrived at her Mullion wedding in a great little old fashion with lots of the Mullion locals turning up to see her arrive.

The Mullion wedding was at the methodist church, its a really nice building inside, nice and light unlike most old fashion churches and Rev. Fran is just lovely and welcoming, she even allowed a small dog attend the service, he was also dressed to the nines of course too though. The ceremony went off without a hitch.

After the ceremony, Me and the newlyweds went down to Mullion Cove harbour for a few special portrait photos making the most of the perfect setting (again, not biased at all!) I have been wanting to do a wedding shoot at the harbour as long as I have lived here, I’m sure you can agree that they turned out just perfect too.

The forecast for the day was actually rain and showers all day (never a good thing to see when checking) however it managed to hold off most the day, luckily it only started after the last group shot was taken, phew! the rain would now keep coming for the rest of the day and night, we used this to our advantage though and got some fantastic rain pictures too.

The meal was a spread put on by Helford hog roasts and was incredible, also homemade chutneys and sloe gin made by the family too. The boys all nailed the speeches with lots of teary eyes in the audience. The groomsmen all had a pipe from Trystan’s late grandad’s pipe collection, a really nice touch and tribute. The men swiftly formed a gentleman club in the outside tent and puffed away on the pipes, top show ol boys!

After the meal, the garden games were now set up inside due to the weather but that stopped none of the fun! The evening entertainment was by the band straw dogs who put on a great show, the dance floor was packed from the beginning till when I left at 10.30.

Trystan and Helly booked one of my packages including my popular ha ha bonk photo booth which went down a storm in the marquee too.
