A great big Cornwall navy wedding today at my favorite place – a Gunwalloe church wedding.
Gunwalloe church or its official name – St Winwaloe church is the most perfect little church just outside Helson and on the side of a beach making it the most idyllic place to get married, I am of course a little biased as me and wife, in fact, got married there also!
William and Yzelkla’s wedding day was extra special as it always brings back memories of my wedding.
As William is an officer in the Navy, lots of the guests were also in uniform, I absolutely love any military uniform at a wedding, always adds another level of class I feel. Nothing was shaking William, he was as cool as a cucumber awaiting his bride Yzelkia to arrive at their Gunwalloe Cove wedding.
Yzelkia arrived in style in a stunning old fashion car with her proud dad on her arm and made her way into the church. Father Shane did a cracking job as ever with the service.
Being a Cornwall Navy wedding, we could not go without an archway of all the hats before the confetti blasting, After a few group shots on (very nearby) beach, we went for a few special portraits making the most of the beautiful surroundings.
The wedding reception was at the equally stunning Penmorvah Manor in burdock water, the weather was fantastic so guests spilled out into the gardens, After the meal and speeches, I borrow the happy couple for a few more pictures in the grounds.
