The first wedding back this year and I was honoured to be asked to shoot for another Cornwall based wedding photographer on his own wedding day – Grant Lampard Photography, I was more than thrilled to be asked and took this as a huge compliment.
The day started with bridal preparation shots at Perran Sands holiday park. Lucy was as cool as a cucumber when I first arrived, I think it all set it once the dress was on and it became very real!
The wedding at Truro registry office was at 12.30 and all the guests were excited to see Lucy arriving in style. Grant and Lucy were both buzzing throughout the ceremony, love sure was in the air. Afterwards we had a few group shots in the Truro registry office gardens.
While making the most of the break in the weather, Me, Grant and Lucy headed to Perranporth for a few special location shots and a mini portrait session.
Afterwards it was back to Perran Sands holiday park for the reception. As Grant and Lucy are both rather well traveled, they had named all of there tables after places they had visited. The room was decorated amazingly with fine little details all over (you could tell Grant had a put a lot of thought into good photos too).
There was a live band for the evening which filled the dance floor, the atmosphere a live band creates just incredible at parties. I did a manned photo booth that evening and the guests were going wild with all the props.
It was a fantastic wedding to start this years season off with a bang, Huge congratulations to Grant and Lucy Lampard!
