Chris and Helen’s Xmas wedding at Polurrian on the lizard

After a few date changes and one pandemic (you might have heard about it) – Chris and Helen finally tied the knot at their wedding at Polurrian on the lizard and I was thrilled to cover the day.

Helen got ready on site at one of the beautiful bungalows neirbouring the hotel with daughters, bridesmaids and mother in law, followed by dad and some tears! While the boys gathered in the vista lounge all set up ready for the ceremony (COVID friendly of course), incredible views of mounts bay all around – such an amazing spot for a wedding.

There might have only been 15 guests as per the guidelines at the time but the ceremony was just as special as ever, after all the extra waiting and postponements, probably more than usual.

With full receptions not be allowed at the time, Chris and Helen decided to have a high tea followed by cocktail making class which was loads of fun for everyone, there was certainly some strange concoctions put together when there was free roam!

With all the amazing scenary Polurrian on the lizard has to offer, we got some fantastic portraits on the ground too,

Thanks so much for having me Chris and Helen for your wedding at Polurrian on the lizard. so glad you manged to finally tie the knot after so much stress and replanning, was so lovely spending time with your nearest and dearest.

here is my personal favourites from the day.

I remember hearing those stories as a kid. My background is very German and my mother taught in Germany for several years. She brought many traditions back with her and shared them with us kids in the years to come. One of my favorites was eating the Lebkuchen! It was so delicious! I am actually getting ready to go to Germany for Christmas this year and looking very forward to some authentic German Lebkuchen! Zackary Tien
