I rarely shoot weddings this far west in Cornwall purely because of the lack of wedding venues and then Chypraze farm pops up and makes up for that with its stunning view all around, such a beautiful wedding venue.
This was a super last minute wedding booking – maybe 2 weeks before the date as The previous wedding photographer had to cancel. Boy am I glad I took the wedding, I think ended up being my favorite wedding of 2020.
Truan and Louise are up there with the most in love couples I have ever had the pleasure and of covering weddings. From the get go you could tell how much this day and them coming together in marriage meant the world not only to them but also their children too.
From the moment Truan saw his girls all glammed up ready and waiting for Louise to arrive, the tears starting flowing but all the girls did were laugh at their dad. All the children had parts throughout the day, the girls had a reading during the ceremony, and the boys giving Louise’s hand away in marriage and being ring bearers.
The vibe at Chypraze is always so relaxed, after the ceremony, all the guests chilled out in the sun with drinks before a bbq to follow. The perfect summer wedding venue!
We took advantage of the incredible scenery the area boasts with getting portraits on the coastal path.
More tears during the speeches with Louise’s son stealing the show with his loving words and how great it was Truan coming into their lives.
We finished the night with the most incredible sunsets to finish a perfect day.
