Little late to the blog this one, I had the pleasure of photographing Tal and Kayley’s Crasken farm wedding last year. Crasken farm is just on the outskirts of Helston, not many people have heard of it but I think that helps this unspoiled gem of a rustic wedding venue.
Kayley got ready at her Parents house in St Martin with her sisters and family, super relaxed vibe which would continue throughout the day.
Kayley’s dad owns a Relient scimitar (one of my favorites!) and was honored to drive her to the church wedding at Manaccan Church.
Tals children Loki and Kairi arrived too ready for some last minute prep.
Tal was ready and waiting at the church for his beautiful bride, upon Kayley’s arrival and walk down the aisle, I sweat Tal shed just one single tear and I was pumped to get it on camera. we got him, Kayley!
After confetti at church, we made our way to the rest of the Crasen wedding. Kayley’s dad owns an original Morris Commercial LC3 truck handed down from his uncle (so very sentimental to the family) that was polished up with a seat in the back for the happy couple to arrive at their reception in style!
Back to the wonderful Crasken farm, it is such an incredible venue. Super rustic feel, old stone buildings, and picture opportunities in every direction. Loki and Kairi were itching to get up on the truck, we wasted no time getting a photo!
The owners had been slow roasting a whole pig for 24 hours – I’ve had a lot of hog roasts at weddings but this was another level, hats off to the chef!
I think the venue has possibly the most chilled relaxing vibe I have ever felt at a wedding, Guests relaxed in the garden area all over the place in the sunshine eating and drinking and all round good times.
After the sun went down, the fire pit got lit for everyone to enjoy smores, the party was rocking with a live band inside and then finishing the amazing Crasken farm wedding with sparklers.
Thanks so much for having me Tal and Kayley! I think this is one of favorites weddings of 2018 for sure.
